The Pulaski Police Department would like to welcome you to our new department website and to the Pulaski, NY area! We hope you take advantage of our beautiful Village by visiting our walking trails, parks, and fishing in our world class Salmon River.
Village residents and visitors, requesting a police officer assistance, should always call 9-1-1. The Police Department non-emergency number is, 315-298-7525. The Police Department currently handles vehicle lockouts, business and residential checks, funeral escorts, property escorts, and car seat inspections. The department has a Safe Zone drop off and/or pickup outside our station that is under Video Surveillance 24 hours a day. We currently have a medicine drop box inside our village office for old prescriptions for disposal.
The Pulaski Police department operates 365 days a year. Our officers are certified by NYDCJS as Police Officers. The department consists of full-time and part-time officers. Pulaski Police is committed to protecting life and property by enforcing all local, state, and Federal laws.
About the Chief
Chief Michael Martin started his police officer career as a patrolman in July 1987 at Carthage, NY Police Department. He then went to the Oswego Police Department in August 1987 where he worked as a Patrolman, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Training Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant. He retired in August 2007. Chief Martin continued his police career by going to the Pulaski Police department as a police officer. He was later promoted to sergeant and then to Chief in August 2014. Chief Martin also serves as a School Resource Officer (SRO) in the Mexico and Academy School district since 2007. Chief Martin enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dogs coaching, and refereeing.
